On April 10 HD-CARE sponsored the presentation of The Longest Journey at the Innovation Center at UCI. The film is a documentary about a family’s efforts to raise awareness of and funds for HD research. It tracks the Shaffer family team’s non-stop cross-country bicycle trek. It is inspirational and left tears in the eyes of many viewers. It is available at Amazon movies, and is free for Prime members.
